Adult Discussion Groups
The library offers many regular book discussion groups for adults. Some are facilitated by library staff and others are run by volunteers with the library offering supporting materials. Please refer to the library's Event Calendar for complete details on dates and title selections.
History Book Club - Facilitated by volunteers in the group. Generally meets the fourth Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
Booked for Lunch - Daytime discussion group that is facilitated by Library Director Karen Ball. The group generally meets the first Tuesday of the month from noon-1:00 p.m.
Classics Book Club - Meets fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Facilitated by Jessical Magill.
Cookbook Club - Meets bi-monthly on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Facilitated by volunteers in the group.
Evening Discussion Group - Meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Facilitated by Assistant Director Mary Bell.
Great Decisions Series - Meets for eight Wednesday afternoons from 4:00-5:30 p.m. from February through April. Facilitated by volunteers in the group. Briefing Books can be purchased annually beginning in November through www.fpa.org.
